Spiritborne Sound Design

Spiritborne was to be a full scale ARPG with high quality graphics and unique class based gameplay.

I designed the following sound effects as the Sound Design Lead.

 

Boss Clap Attack

Miss, hit, and kill sounds for the first boss clapping two giant stone mallets together.

 

Boss Intro Attack

Miss, hit, and kill sounds for the first boss’s initial attack that starts the fight.

 

Knight Greatsword Overhead Combo

The knight character smashing his greatsword down into rock.

Boss Cross Attack

Miss, hit and kill sounds for the first boss swinging two giant mallets in an ‘X’.

 

Boss Roar

Creature noise of an ogre roar from the first boss.

 

Knight Greatsword Underhand Combo

Underhand combo for the Knight character’s greatsword.

Boss DoubleSwing Attack

Miss, Hit, and kill sounds for the first boss swinging two giant stone mallets one after the other

 

Forest Ambiance

Long Ambiance loop for forest area. .

 

Knight Sword & Shield Combo .

Combo for the knight character’s sword and shield.

Boss Fireball

Ignition, travel loop, and impact for the first boss throwing a giant fireball at the player.

 

Knight Greatsword Charge Stab

Charge up stab attack with a greatsword from the Knight character.
